Announcements for Easter Season 2020

Linked here are Father Michael’s homilies for the Paschal Triduum, available on YouTube from our celebrations of the Triduum at St. Isaac Jogues in Hinsdale.

We want to wholeheartedly thank a number of people who came to the aid of our parish in our Triduum celebrations.

  • First, special thanks to the Very Reverend William DeSalvo, V.F., pastor of St. Isaac Jogues in Hinsdale, for his generous offer to celebrate the Triduum in his parish and make those celebrations available to our parish.

  • Additionally, we’d like to thank Michael Ryder of GearMX for his generous offer to give us the footage to post here.

  • We would also like to thank Tony Brandolino, Director of Development at St. Isaac’s and our music director, for working as a liaison between our parishes.

  • Also, many thanks to Tish Azar, our Director of Development and Technology, for her work in setting up our website (and lots and lots of troubleshooting!) to make sure the streams were accessible to our parishioners.

News for the Easter Season:

For as long as we are unable to gather for Mass, we have decided that we want to be able to stream Sunday masses to you. We are unable to do that here at St. Jude for a variety of reasons. Therefore, Fr. DeSalvo has graciously offered to allow us to have mass and utilize their live streaming capabilities at St. Isaac's.

We will celebrate Mass at 11:00 AM each Sunday at St. Isaac Jogues for the time being. Fr. Michael will celebrate and preach next week's Mass on April 26.

We pray in earnest that this all will pass us by soon. Know that we are praying for you and miss having you here with us. We look forward to the day we can all be together in church again - what a triumphant day that will be!

In Christ,

Fr. Michael and Greg Alberts

(and the whole St. Jude parish staff!)
