FAMILY FORMATION
Family Formation forms adults and children to be faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.
Since parents are the the first teachers of the faith to their children, Family Formation empowers parents to share the Good News and the beauty of the Catholic Faith at home. 2020-21 Family Formation Update
St. Jude Family Formation has received Diocesan Certification to reopen for in-person Family Formation Night. Our Family Formation re-opening plan went through a two-stage process of review and has met all protocols for health and safety as required by the Diocese of Joliet, the Office of Youth Formation, and the State of Illinois.
Specifically, all of our in-person gatherings will require the wearing of face-masks, the taking of temperatures before entering the building, the observing of 6 ft of social distance at all times, and regular sanitizing of all bathrooms, desks, chairs, and high-trafficked areas. We are committed to maintaining a high standard to ensure the health and safety of all our children and their families.
For those families that have safety/health concerns and are not comfortable meeting in person, we are offering the option of At-Home Family Formation. This includes At-Home First Communion and Confirmation Preparation.
Please see the 2020-21 In-Person and At-Home Program Calendars below which include explanation of what each program entails.
